Genshin Impact Story Guide - Chun Yun Quests

In this guide, we will go over the details of completing the Quest of Legends "Encounter with Chun Yun" from the Genshin Impact dating series.

The plots are branched, and lead to completely different endings. Chun Yun has six of them. For each ending you will receive a certain reward.

After you complete the quest for the first time, you will be able to go back and replay it from specific points by clicking on the boxes on the diagram. This way you can save time when unlocking all endings.

Ending 1 - There is a blessing in disguise

During the initial dialogue with Chun Yun, tell him that the clues are contrived (He should have been told that all these clues were sucked from the finger). He will be shocked and both of you will notice that the child is looking at you. While talking to your child, give him only one popsicle.

After giving your child one popsicle, go to the Wanwen Bookstore. In a conversation with Chun Yun, three sets of clues will be presented there, and choosing the wrong ones will result in two hearts being deducted. If you choose the wrong answers three times, you will fail the meeting with Chun Yun.

Here is the right choice for everyone ??a set of hints:

• Set 1: A ghostly shadow roams the Feiyun Marketplace at night. It is supposed to be a vengeful spirit."
• Set 2: Evils from the depths of the Cloud Sea attack fishing ships and build a luxurious palace.
• Set 3: “A demon skillfully hiding in the fog has appeared. Traces of it have recently been seen in the village of Minyun, the Guili Valley and the Yaoguang Shoal.”

After that, you will go to the Uvan slope. Follow the markers on the map and fight the Hilichurls at the end. It seems a bit disappointing that these are the only enemies you will face. However, you'll get the "Happy Day" ending for the Encounters: Series I with Chun Yun event.

Endings 2 and 3 - Fascinating Leisure and Indomitable Heat and Hide and Seek

You need to return to the branching stage, which is called "The Asking Look" and during the conversation with the child, give him two popsicles (He also has a sister. You will have to give both portions).

Instead of looking for demons, Chun Yun will be interested in making popsicles. Meet him in front of the People's Choice Restaurant and he'll ask you the best ingredients to use. You will also need to provide him with these ingredients.

Here are the results:

• Use sky-high pepper and slime slime - this will give you the Untamed Heat ending right after ?Wow, how Chun Yun will eat a popsicle. It looks like this cryo character can't handle spicy food.
• How about misty flower and qingxin flower , this is a branching point called "Frost Freshness".
• Let's try the vodka and zakutnik - this gives you a branching point, which is called "Fruit Sweetness".

Note. Both Frosty Freshness and Fruity Sweetness lead to the same Fun Leisure ending.

Find the three hiding people

Return to the "Ice Cream Crisis" stage.

If you chose the options "Misty Flower/Qingxin" or "Valyashka/Sunset", you will be asked to give popsicles to a little boy and his sister. The two children then ask you and Chun Yun to play hide and seek.

After you find all three hidden people, you will receive the Chun Yun ending called "Fun Leisure".

Ending 4 - No results

Return to the very beginning to the "Chance Encounter" stage.

During the initial dialogue with Chun Yun, do not tell him that the hints are far-fetched (These hints are far-fetched, but it is better not to tell such a persistent person like him). He will ask you to go with him to the Uvan slope.

For this particular ending, you will have a dialogue branch pointalmost as soon as you talk to Uncle Jia on the slope, as he will offer the two of you a drink:

• "Let's have a drink together. If you lose power over yourself, I will look after you.
• "I'll drink it myself."

Note: For now, choose to have Chun Yun drink the drink as well. The other option, and some of the options I'll quote after, will lead to different branching paths and endings.

Approach the mark and you will find two pairs of guys and girls and strange smoke. Talk to the couples and investigate the strange smoke.

Because of the drink, Chun Yun will be slightly woozy. Answer: "You then rest, and I will continue the investigation."

Next, go to the mark and talk to the man pretending to be a ghost. You will then be presented with various dialogue options. Unfortunately, Chun Yun is still feeling slightly nauseous, leading to the "No Results" ending.

In any case, in the last section of our guide, we will discuss other dialogue branching points and remaining endings.

Endings 5 and 6 - Farewell and Minor Annoyances

Return to the "Chong Yun's Determination" stage.

There are several branching points here, including your decision on whether Chun Yun will drink Uncle Jia's drink.

Here's the gist:

• If you ask Chun Yun to drink this drink, he will feel sick. After examining the strange smoke / talking to the couples on the slope of Uvan, withtell him: "I will find a place for you where you can rest." This will give you two more options on what materials to use to treat his illness (Cryo slime slime or Cryo jumper nectar). You will fight with the mobs of your choice, after which you will talk to people who pretend to be ghosts.
• Alternatively, you can simply tell Chun Yun that you will drink the drink alone. Examine the smoke/talk to the vapors as usual. Then approach the marker to find the person who is trying to scare the others.

After talking to the people pretending to be ghosts, tell Chun Yun the truth. There are two additional options:

• “Do you remember that strange fog? I would like to take a look at him."
• "Yes, let's go back."

Note: These dialogue options in Encounters with Chun Yun will only appear after (a) he didn't drink the drink, or (b) because you were able to cure his illness.

If you decide to explore the strange fog, a real child ghost will appear.

Talk to the spirit, then talk to Chun Yun. This will give you the Farewell ending.

If at the stage “Where are the evil spirits?” you decide to just go back (Yes, let's go back), this will complete your investigation. Traveler and Chun Yun will part ways.
