Shadow Fight 3 Guide: How to Fight (Den Rao and Gizmo Bosses)

In addition to what was covered in our beginner's guide, it is very important to keep your moves and techniques. Each attack potentially leaves you vulnerable to the enemy, so you need to focus on avoiding enemy attacks and counterattacking instead of acting first. It would also be a good idea to try not to get close to the enemy, otherwise you will become an easy target for a throw that takes away a considerable amount of health points. On the other hand, you can wait until the enemy approaches you before making your own grapple with a throw and dealing serious damage.

Don't forget about evasive maneuvers. Your dashes (a quick double-tap of the forward or back button) and rolls can be very helpful in keeping you out of trouble.

Finally, it is very important to avoid any situation where you find yourself locked in a corner. This can lead to a series of strikes from your opponent, which will lead to defeat. In this case, the enemy may even try to win a “perfect” victory without missing a single blow from you.

How to beat the boss - Den Rao

We will complete the chain of tips for passing Shadow Fight 3 with the tactics of fightings with two bosses. And the first boss in the game is Den Rao, which you will face in the starting story chapter. In the beginning, this character taunts your friendship with Jun (an NPC who is your mentor after you complete the actual combat system training against Gizmo). I'm not sure how to properly name the weapon in Den Rao's hands, but it looks like a long pole with a cross on one end (sort of a long spear). This makes it an excellent weapon for long-range attacks while out of reach of the opponent's strikes.

What you need to do in the fight against this boss is close the distance and engage him in melee combat. Keep an eye out for his shadowy skills, which include teleportation, as well as the ability to quickly rotate his weapon, easily imposing his combo on you, due to which Dan can deal devastating damage. Ideally, while Den is in shadow mode, it is best to avoid him altogether. But if you are close to him, then you can use kicks to prevent his shadow skills.

How to beat the boss - Gizmo

Gizmo is the second boss in the game, a former comrade of the protagonist with whom you trained at the very beginning when you first started. At some point in the game, he will betray the protagonist, because of which he will become the next boss after Den Rao. Small in stature, Gizmo seems to put a lot of power into his attacks, using special skills including a grapple followed by a powerful throw, repeated knee strikes while holding the GG. In short, Gizmo is a small but extremely dangerous opponent and you should not underestimate him.

Unlike Den Rao, Gizmo is best fought with weapons with a long range, such as a longsword or, even better, a spear. Attack this guy from a distance, literally touching the tip of his nose with the tip of your spear - this is a good and sure recipe for defeating the second boss of the game. You can step back and attack with a spear - another great option! Remember to mix up your moves, because even the AI in the game is able to remember the tricks you use and predict your actions.
