Guide Valheim - how to protect yourself from poison and poisoning

There are several types of monsters in the world of Valheim, and some of them, in addition to physical damage, can poison your Viking. Let's figure out how to avoid this negative status.

How to make Antidote and Poison Resistance Potion in Walheim

Valheim's protagonist can suffer physical damage, but things can get worse if the enemy deals fire, cold, or poison damage in parallel. Especially a lot of monsters with poisonous effects are located in the swamps.

To ensure resistance to poisoning, we recommend crafting a cauldron, and then collecting the following resources:

  1. Thistle - Found throughout the Black Forest.
  2. Charcoal - Requires a special oven or cooking stand. On the last one, you need to burn any piece of meat that will turn into coal.
  3. Honey - craft an apiary or search the beehives in the game world.
  4. Nyx's Tail - Kill amphibians near bodies of water.

Once you've collected all of the listed items, use the cauldron and create a mead base with poison resistance.

The foundation is only half the battle. It's not a potion. Any foundations in the game must go through a fermentation process, and for this you need a fermentation barrel. To make a fermentation barrel in Walheim, get the following resources:

  1. Resin - chop down trees and kill gradeworphs.
  2. Bronze - 5 units - craft at the forge, oh?by combining tin and copper. The latter are mined with a pickaxe.
  3. Quality wood - chop oak and birch. These trees grow near water bodies.

You also need to build a forge, which will directly create a fermentation barrel. Add Poison Resistant Mead Base to the barrel. If you go to the swamp, be sure to take such a potion and use it before the fight with monsters that spit poison.
