Many players of Dead Island 2 are interested in the question of how the fast travel system in the game works, how to unlock it and switch between day and night.
The first thing you need to do is complete story mission #14 "Red Mist". After it, the fast travel system will open.
Now interact with the fast travel map at the headquarters of any district, and you will see that on this screen, in addition, you can switch between day and night. That's all!
You can only select DAY or NIGHT. You cannot select the exact time of the day (for example, morning, noon, or lunch). The time of day does not affect the availability of any tasks. Rather, which zombies appear in each region depends more on how the story unfolds than on the current time of day.
As you progress through the storyline, you will encounter new enemies. They will also appear in previously completed areas. Some uniquely named zombies that drop safe keys require the completion of a story quest, and only spawn after that.
