Parade Master in Lies of P

Parade Master is the first main boss in Lies of P that you will encounter during your playthrough. It all starts in the area of the Krat Central Station, while you will encounter the boss at the end of this area, in front of the entrance to the Krat Hotel.

First phase

Parade Master is a huge puppet. In the first stage, the enemy attacks with long arms. Despite its size, the boss is very mobile and jumps a lot, closing the distance if necessary. As with other enemies, don't forget to use your weapon skill.

The main tip for this battle is to block enemy attacks as often as possible. They're all pretty predictable and telegraphed well in advance, so there won't be any problems with that. Keep making perfect parries to gradually stun your opponent.

Another feature of his movements is an attack with a rod located on his head. And this attack is easy to block, but if you run into trouble, you can dodge to the side instead. The best opportunity to damage the Parade Master is afteroh how he will perform the aforementioned wand attack.

Problems may arise with enemy jumping. He will perform them after he takes two quick steps towards the hero. At this moment, he will jump into the air and hit the ground with all his might. You can either block the attack or dodge to the side. In both cases, if you successfully avoid the damage, you will be able to counterattack the boss.

After several blocks and damage done, the enemy's health bar will turn white. If you attack him with a charged attack, he will be temporarily stunned. This is a good opportunity to perform a finishing blow. Approach the boss and perform a quick attack to deal massive damage.

The boss's most dangerous attack is to slam his hand into the ground after it starts to turn red. You cannot block the move, this attack is incredibly difficult to dodge. The only option is to run away or - if you are confident in your abilities - to put up a perfect block. If you manage to place a perfect block, you can significantly reduce the enemy's health.

Second phase

When the boss's health drops below 60%, he will remove a huge cage from his shoulders, pull out a rod and thereby receive a new weapon with a greater range of destruction. At this stage, Parade Master becomes much more aggressive, his combos last longer, and his hits deal even more damage. There's no point in dodging attacks, right?So you will have to rely mainly on an ideal block.

If you see a boss slamming a weapon into the ground and being idle for a few seconds, under no circumstances attack him more than once ! In reality, this stance is just a setup for a weapon combo that will culminate in a red charged attack. The combo consists of two fast strikes and one slower movement. Try to block all enemy attacks to cause stun.

If the boss does a 360 degree turn, be prepared for incoming attacks - in most cases it will be 3 hits. It is best to retreat to a safe distance and wait until the boss changes his attack. If there is a large distance between you, most likely the enemy will try to run up to you and swing his weapon twice in a short period of time. You can block hits to fill the stun meter.

Remember to perform finishing attacks whenever possible. Thanks to them, you will destroy the enemy much faster!
