What is Radar Booster for at Lethal Company?

The Radar Booster at Lethal Company has many uses . You can use it to mark exits, help crewmates find their way back to the ship, or even distract (some) enemies.

Where to get Radar Booster

To get the radar booster, you need to access the Terminal and enter the Store command. Look through the item list and find a Radar Amplifier for 50 credits (price may vary). Buy at least one and it will appear on the ship.

Once you pick up the radar amplifier, click LMB to turn it on. You can then place the Radar Booster in your desired location. To launch the device, detect or distract enemies, enter the command Ping [radar_amplifier_name] on the Terminal.

If you don't know the name of your Radar Booster, use the red and white buttons. You will see Radar Booster, and its name will be next to Monitoring. For example, if your radar amplifier name is John, you would enter the command Ping John.

Here's what Radar Booster is for:

  1. On moons with poor visibility, you can place a radar amplifier and go in search of junk, so as not to get lost in the future and find your way back to the ship.
  2. The radar amplifier can be placed in front of the entrance or fire exit of a building so that players can easily ??It's a way out.
  3. If there are noise-sensitive enemies nearby (such as dogs, which often live on the surface of planets), you can signal the radar amplifier to attract their attention. Your companions will then be able to return to the ship safely.
  4. You can use Radar Booster to keep an eye on certain rooms on the moon that you think might pose a threat. The amplifier has a camera that will appear on the ship's second monitor.

Please note that in most of the above scenarios the player will need to be on the ship in order to be able to check the radar booster via the Terminal .
