Cryptic Vessels in Lies of P

In the game Lies of P you will not only have to fight terrible monsters and possessed puppets, but also solve several challenging puzzles. In the course of the story you will be able to try yourself as a treasure hunter and try to find all the legendary artifacts known as "mysterious vessels", in which the coordinates of stashes with valuable items are encrypted.

While you will know exactly where to look, it will not always be clear how to achieve what you want. This will require solving a number of non-trivial puzzles that sometimes require an unconventional approach. Below we will explain in detail how to find all the mysterious vessels and what to do next to earn the reward.

In the game Lies of P, you will be able to find 6 mysterious vessels, but obtaining them will require certain actions that are not always obvious, even if you know where to head. An NPC named Venigny will help you with deciphering each of them, but even after that you won't get detailed instructions.

Crafted Cryptic Vessel

Location: From the chapel of St. Frangelico Cathedral, climb as high as you can until you reach the roaster. Push the roaster off the platform so that it burns the puddle of acid below, thus opening the room with the chest and vessel.

Way to get the reward: After deciphering the Venigny, you'll realize what to look for near Krat's City Hall. After reaching the revival point with the same name, go to the bridge where you will encounter a suspended puppet. Throw something at it to get the second clue - a letter with the address of the asylum. Next, go to the address "221b Elysion Boulevard" and find the safe in room 221b.

Reward: Owl Doctor's clothes and quartz.

Jeweled Cryptic Vessel

Location: At the entrance to the Estella Opera House, go down the stairs to the lower level. After fighting the clown enemy, you will enter a room with two staircases. Climb up the smaller of the two to find the chest with this vessel.

How to get the reward: According to Venigny's transcript, go to Cerasani Alley and follow the river path down to a dead end on a high ledge. Use the "Look at the Floor" gesture to get the treasure.

Reward: Legion Caliber and the Redeemed Hunter's Cloth.

Old Cryptic Vessel

Vessel Location: On the Barren Swamp Bridge. Meet Hugo the vendor on the bridge to get the vessel.

Way to get the reward: Go to the Pilgrim's Path. Enter the hut on the left and take the elevator down. Go through the open door and go up the right stairs. After that, go right on the wooden bridge until you reach a barrel of fire and some trees. Jump to the right of the trees and find a hut. There will be a new NPC inside, the Slum Dweller. Talk to him to get the key to the robber's hut. Use the key on the nearest door. Don't run straight to the chest, as the floor will fall and you will get trapped and have to fight. To avoid this, go along the right wall.

Reward: Legion Caliber and Amulet of Life +1.

Rusty Cryptic Vessel

Vessel Location: To obtain the Rusty Crypto Vessel, first get to Chapter 9 and the Collapsed Street location, where you'll find a special Krat's Supply Box. Starting in the room where you'll get the Workshop Technician Tutorial, go through the broken wall to the left. Jump onto the platform to your right and go back in that direction, then go right to find a ladder. Go down and find a chest with a crate of Kratov supplies. Take it to Polendin's butler at the hotel to expand his store and buy the Rusty Mystery Vessel for 1000 ergo.

Way to get the reward: Go back to the bridge over the Barren Swamp where Hugo is. Go down the stairs and follow the path on the right, then go down the stairs on the left and go through the wooden planks. Go right and go down into the square hole in the roof, there will be an enemy waiting for you. Defeat him, then go up the ladder and open the safe.

Reward: Black Cat hunting clothes and quartz.

Alidoro's Cryptic Vessel

Vessel Location: To obtain the Alidoro Crypto Vessel, you must defeat the Brotherhood of the Black Rabbit. Then approach a merchant named Alidoro located in the Library of St. Frangelico Cathedral. Unfortunately, to get this vessel in Lies of P, you will have to kill Alidoro. Otherwise, you will miss this chance forever.

How to get the reward: After deciphering the vessel from Venigny, find Eugenia at her workplace in the workshop of Hotel Krat. Tell her the truth about her brother's death - the real Alidoro - or lie to her.

Reward: Depending on your choice, you'll receive one of the parts of the Proposal, Flower, Wolf plates, which contain interesting plot information about the characters' backstory. If you return to Eugenia after resting at the stargazer's house, you will get the achievement "The Story of a Strange Girl".

Mechanical Cryptic Vessel

Vessel Location: From the Shattered Rift point in Arce Abbey, go through the room with columns into the archway, then turn right. Follow the metal plate on the ground until you see a locked gate on the left. Then turn right and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs go right, after the harlequin enemy turn left. At the end you will find a chest containing a Mechanical Mystery Vessel.

How to get the reward: To start solving the puzzle and get the reward, you will need the Ice Feast weapon, which is available only after killing Victor the Champion and visiting Hugo in the Krat Hotel. Give the vessel to Venigny for decryption. The transcript will read, "Orders: the train is no longer departing and the merchant is waiting for the 'Ice Feast' in the ruined city." Teleport to the "Abandoned Apartment" point. Go to the stairs on the left to go outside. Follow the right wall until you can turn right and cross over the white stone that serves as a bridge. Cross to the other side and turn left. Pass the ladder and go through the gap to the left of it, between the stone pillar. Cross the stone bridge on your left and continue to the right. Then turn left, go through the archway and you will see a double staircase with two trees. At the top of the stairs you will meet an NPC named Traveling Merchant. Show him the Ice Feast weapon to get your reward.
