Alone in the Dark (2024) Dying With Dignity Lagniappes

In Alone in the Dark (2024), there are a total of 15 Lagniappes Sets, consisting of three different Lagniappes that you can find in different corners of Derseto and Jeremy's memories. In this guide, we'll show you how to collect items from the Dying With Dignity Lagniappes and what the rewards are.

All Dying With Dignity Lagniappes

• Sheet Music. In the second chapter, go through the graveyard, escape from the monsters in the cave and take the third medallion. Don't leave the cave and look for a loophole in the wall on the left leading to a secret chamber.
• War Photo. Exclusive item for Emily Hartwood. After the steamer episode (you need to start the engine), visit the second room in the hall on the first floor. This is Ruth's bedroom. There is a photograph hidden here.
• Toe Tag. An exclusive item for Emily Hartwood. Once in the morgue, solve the puzzle, watch the cutscene with the Dark Man and return to the corpse of John Marcus.

Dying With Dignity Lagniappes Rewards

The sign resembles a blessing, save that the first and little fingers are both folded beneath the thumb, whilst the second and third fingers are held up. This dark blessing is said to protect against evil. Much like the sign of the horns which is quite similar, but has a reversed schema. The truth is that the dark blessing is a sign of submission. A complete capitulation to our lesser selves. The sign only protects from evil in the sense that you become a part of it.

Emily's secret ending

Once you've collected the entire collection, in chapter four, if you're playing as Emily, an additional objective will appear. You are asked to wash the paint off the painting. Get to Dr. Gray's bedroom and enter the dresser where the key to the closet is hidden. If the whole collection is collected and you play as Emily Hartwood, you will be able to interact with the table on your right hand. There is currently a bug in the quest, so we will update later.
