The secret to solving this puzzle is to correctly count the number of symbols indicated by the combination lock in order to correctly solve the equations. The symbols are depicted on the wings of the moths, but some have more than others, and some moths are completely wingless.

The easiest way is to count the number of circles. If you walk around the room and study the visible moths, you will get 5. Not far from the entrance to the room, there is a hole in the wall with which you can interact. Thanks to this, you will see a moth with a skull. There is another moth inside, that is, the number 2.

The hardest thing is to determine the number of crescents. In fact, in the far room behind the hole in the wall there is a hidden moth with a crescent. To find it, look for a place next to three moths in a frame, a wall that can be destroyed. In total, you should get 8 crescents.

The solution is:

1. The first equation is crescents minus circles, i.e. 8-5=3.
2. Next, add the skulls and circles — 2+5=7.
3. Finally, subtract the skulls from the circles: 5-2=3.
