In order to fully explore the hospital, players must tackle the X-Ray puzzle located on the third floor, which involves locating and organizing a set of X-Rays to unveil a hidden code. You will need to discover where each X-Ray is located and arrange them properly to uncover their mystery.

Start by heading to the west side of Brookhaven’s second floor and find a staircase that goes both down to the first floor and up to the third. Upon reaching the third floor, you will encounter Laura; as you proceed through the area, you’ll spot a room displaying patient X-Rays on a wall-mounted viewer.

Pick up the note from the nearby table, as it offers clues for the puzzle, along with another X-Ray depicting a skeletal pelvis. Insert it into the X-Ray machine—you don’t need to worry about its arrangement until you find the fourth image.

Next, return to the first floor using the western staircase, granting you access to a new area on the first floor, specifically the kitchen.

Search for a blocked garbage chute and retrieve the bottle of mold remover located there.

To obtain the final X-Ray, you will need the code for the nurse's station. This can be found in a note within the doctors' lounge, which you can access after obtaining the key to the 1F Inner Ward from Exam Room 3 on the third floor.

Head over to the nurses' lounge and input the code: 3578.

Entering this room will lead you to a treatment area filled with bathtubs full of murky water. Inspect the bathtub in the corner to locate the required X-Ray.

Unfortunately, the image is obscured by mold. Fortunately, you have the mold remover—combine the two items in your inventory to reveal the X-Ray of a hand.

You can now return to the X-Ray machine to place each of the X-Rays you have found. The key to solving this puzzle is to use the markings along the edges of the images to determine their correct positions on the wall; some images feature crosses or lines that correspond with markings on the machine itself.

The code you’re looking for is 4 37 12. To unlock it, turn the dial to the right to 4, then to the left to 37, and back to the right to 12. Inside, you'll discover a Dirty Bracelet, which you will need to finalize the puzzle in the Director's Office.
