Bad Parenting is a linear game exploring psychological and supernatural elements. Mr Red Face is a fictional character created by adults for their children. They say that he often appears late at night to give gifts to children who behave well. But is this true? The game takes place in a small apartment, where the main character Ron faces terrible supernatural phenomena and at the same time tries to protect his family from the evil plans of a man with a red face.

Late in the evening, Mom comes home from work. The son asks if she remembers that it is his birthday today and where his gift is. Mom says that she remembers and tells about the mysterious Mr Red Face, who comes to obedient children at night and gives gifts. Dad enters the dialogue and sends the boy to bed.

At night, we see Mr Red Face enter the room and head to the closet. In the morning, near the bed, we approach the gift box, where we find a doll. She is made with the help of magic and can talk. She will tell about the closet. We approach the closet, but we will not be able to open it. It is locked. The doll will tell that she is hungry. But can a doll feel hunger? The doll will tell that the mother endowed her with all the feelings and emotions. She is connected with the boy and feels everything that he does.

We go to the kitchen. We put the doll on a chair. We read the note from mom on the refrigerator. She writes that she cooked our favorite dish and asks us to warm it up and take care of ourselves and not forget to take our pills. We take out a plate. We heat it in the microwave and put it on the table. The doll will say that since this is our favorite dish, then with the help of magic, she will make sure that it never ends and the plate is filled again. We will see the trick with the bottle and be afraid that dad will punish us. But the doll said that the master made the father leave. We go into the father's room and see a doll sitting on his bed.

The doll will say that the father is not a very good person, and Mr. Red Face took care of him. The boy begs for his father to come back. The doll will tell you that the shortest way is to open the closet. However, it is still locked. BUT you can use the closet in the father's room as a portal. To do this, take the radio from the chest of drawers in the father's room and put it near the closet. Turn on the radio, then open the closet and a portal opens. This is not what we need, try again. Then again until we see a white screen in the closet. We go through and approach the cat at the table. She asks to describe the father. We will tell her that he screams and hits sometimes. She will say that the door is behind us.

We will talk to the children who are stuck there looking for their parents. We will see the father. He is lying and says only one phrase. We will look at the note nearby. Suddenly we will return to the closet and see the mother. She came home from work and asked why we were in the closet. She would say that we were hallucinating because we hadn't taken our pills. That last time we were making up stories too. She would send the hero to bed. We would see Mister in the room. Mom would come and ask what happened. She would say that she would take the day off and would stay home all day tomorrow.

When we woke up, we would see that Mom was not in the room. We would go to the hero's room and talk to the doll. We would learn that the master had kidnapped her. We would go to the portal and cast a spell on her so that she would defeat Mr. Red Face. We would return home through the portal. The doll would say that Mr. Red Face had been defeated and she would also disappear. That the parents were saved. We would go to the hallway.

We would see that same scene at the beginning of the game, when Mom came home from work and Dad told us to go to bed. We would see the parents arguing and the father hitting the mother several times. Mom leaves. Dad gets drunk and goes into the child's room, kills him and locks him in the closet. We will see the terrible ending. How mom opened the closet and cried and how the police found the killer father in the hotel. The game shows how important it is to find time for children and pay attention to them. One wrong step can cost a life...
