Stalker 2 Walkthrough — Three Captains

Sonya Kalina can be found in Sultansk, which is in the Zaton territory. Head east from the Zalesye bar in the Malaya Zona and continue following the road until it turns southeast. Once you are inside Sultansk, talk to the bartender and ask about tasks. First, she will send you to help Sultan, from whom you can take the first additional task. After that, you will also have to complete a mission for Boroda, the leader at the Shevchenko base. Once you have completed both tasks, you can take the third mission from Sonya called Three Captains.

How to complete the Three Captains quest in Stalker 2

Your task is to kill Sultan and Boroda, who met at an abandoned building in the port. You will be asked to use a sniper rifle from a nearby tower to kill both characters. And this quest can be completed in different ways!

Kill Boroda and Sultan

If you decide to kill the leaders of Skadovsk and Shevchenko, there are several ways to complete this task. Climb the huge crane next to the meeting place, eliminate the sniper and take the Mark I EMR sniper rifle. But you do not have to use it, as there is another sniper rifle in this room. Pick up the unique sniper AR416 standing by the wall, then go to the table next to the radio.

You can switch to another radio frequency to eavesdrop on Boroda and Sultan's conversation. This way, you can figure out the situation and decide for yourself whether you want to kill them. Stand by the window where the AR416 was and enter the aiming mode. Shoot both characters. If you don't shoot and leave the building, as if refusing to kill Boroda and Sultan, Kalina will send her men to finish the job (and they will literally kill these characters in one moment, and you will receive a smaller reward from Kalina). Alternatively, you can enter the building where the meeting is taking place and kill both without climbing the crane.

How to save Boroda and Sultan?

If you think that killing Boroda and Sultan is a bad option, there is only one way to leave them alive. After listening to the radio, take a sniper position, but do not shoot. Kalina will urge you to complete the task, but you just ignore her order. You will see Boroda and Sultan leaving the meeting place, and your position will be attacked by mercenaries.

First, kill the mercenaries who are moving towards the building where the meeting is taking place. Then leave the position and climb down from the crane. Deal with the enemies, collect the loot and enter the building where Boroda and Sultan met. Open the door next to the entrance. Sultan and Boroda will be safe and will thank you for your help.

Which option is better?

Helping Boroda and Sultan is the best option, as you will receive the achievement Like in the good old days and 4000 coupons. As a result, the couple will unite to rule Sultansk, which will be renamed Skadovsk again. Sonya Kalina will escape, and you will not learn about her fate anymore.
