MiSide Endings

There are 3 different endings you can get in the MiSide quest:

  • You are guaranteed to get the first one after completing the game for the first time.
  • The special ending requires additional conditions to be met.
  • The third ending is only possible after completing the game again.

Here's how to get each ending in MiSide!

Standard Ending

This ending is the standard one when you first complete the game and, unfortunately, is considered "bad". To get it, you just have to give up on staying with Mita and complete all the chapters of the game to the end.

You will receive the achievement "Is This the End?".

Ending Explanation

When the player refuses to stay with Mita in the chapter "Things Get Weird", she becomes aggressive. The player continues to complete all the chapters, trying to reset the Crazy Mita system and escape the game. You team up with Kind Mita to reset the system, but Kind Mita dies or is reset in the process. In the Reboot chapter, despite the apparent success of the reboot process, Crazy Mita remains the same and leaves the player on the cartridge.

Rescue Ending

To get this ending, first beat the game at least once to the standard ending. After that, you will learn the code to the safe in the basement. After opening it, you can get an important item.

As a result, you will receive the achievement "Safe Life".

Ending Explanation

In this ending, you again abandon the idea of staying with Mita in the chapter "When Things Get Strange" and play the following chapters the same way as in the first playthrough (you can skip the initial chapters and load the "Reboot" level). In this chapter, instead of immediately following Good Mita and leaving the basement, go to the safe and enter the code you learned during the first playthrough - 4970. Inside the safe is a device with a cartridge. After removing it, the player will return to the main menu. Although this does not seem like the best ending, this ending is still better than the first, as players remove themselves from the game and are freed from Mad Mita's control.

Stay with Mita

To get this ending, the player must complete the game at least once and fulfill all additional conditions:

  1. Don't look into the oven in the chapter "Am I Inside a Game?".
  2. In the same chapter, pick up the magnets from the refrigerator (when they fall).
  3. Don't look at the tapes in the vents in the chapter "Together At Last".
  4. Try the sauce in the chapter "Together At Last".
  5. Play the console game in the chapter "Things Get Weird".

Ending Explained

The player fulfills all of Mita's wishes at the beginning of the game - not looking in the oven, not looking in the bathroom vent, but trying the sauce and playing games. If you do all of this, then during the chapter "Things Get Weird", looking in the closet will allow the player to stay with Mita (forgetting about trying to escape). The game will end after he makes this choice: we are shown how in the new version of the game the main character sits down with Mita on the couch. Doing this will unlock "Peaceful Mode", which will allow you to go back and interact with Mita in a completely new way (more like a regular dating sim). Peaceful Mode is still in development and is not yet available in the game.
