How to get resources in God of War

After completing the main storyline in God of War, we advise you to prepare for the battle with the Valkyrie - the Queen. In battle, you will need the most improved armor, talismans and hilts. To do this, you need to find resources, which we will describe in detail in our guide.

Important and Necessary Resources in God of War

• Frozen flame . The resource is needed to improve the ax. The first 4 can be obtained during the battle with the story bosses. The fifth can be exchanged with the Dwarves for the Frozen Mists of Niflheim.
• Ice Mists of Niflheim . Find in the cheste, which are in the workshop of Ivaldi. You can unlock the chest for 5000 Mist Echoes.
• Asgardian Steel . When killing a Valkyrie, you can get two Asgardian Steel. Six Valkyries are located inside the secret rooms ( we described how to find and defeat all the Valkyries in a separate guide ) and you will find more in Muspelheim and Nifelheim.
• Flawless Asgardian Steel . Randomly drops when killing Valkyries. When you deal with all the Valkyries, there will be enough resources for all equipment. You also need to fight the Valkyrie Queen.
• Flame of Chaos . The resource is needed to improve the blades of chaos. The first three will drop out when fighting story bosses. The Netflame can be traded with the Dwarves for Muspelheim's Firestorm.
• Firestorm Muspelheim . Dropped when you kill the Valkyrie in Muspelheim.
• Death of the Aesir . A fairly rare resource in Niflheim. You can try to randomly get from the golden chests inside the labyrinth. Chances are great in two rooms that are not included in the main route.
• Haze weaving . You can try to get from the red and gold chests inside the labyrinth of Niflheim.
• Niflheim Alloy . You can try to get from the red and gold chests inside the labyrinth of Niflheim.
• Emblem of Surtra . A very valuable Muspelheim resource. Complete Surtra's Hidden Trials to get this resource. Kill the local Valkyrie, and complete any three trials on the highest difficulty level to gain access to Surtra's trials.
• Fire emblem . Randomly drops from chests when completing Muspelheim trials. It can also be obtained by completing Surtra's hidden trials.
• Supreme fire emblem . Dropped from chests when completing Muspelheim Challenges at the maximum difficulty level. You also need to pass Surtra's tests.
• A smoking ember . Must be tested in Muspelheim.
• Primordial Scales of the World . Found in a legendary chest throughout the game. The chest is located at the top of the Light Elf Outpost. The island is located north of Tyr's temple at the Lake of Nine. Finding the chest is not difficult. It is in a conspicuous place.
• Primordial Ore of the World . This resource is located only at the Iron Bay location. This is a coastal area in the southwest of the Lake of Nine. The chest is behind the door with three runes.
• Primordial dust of the world . To get this resource, head to the coast of the Stone Falls location northeast of Tyr's temple at the Lake of Nine. At the location, head right and continue alongshore until you reach the chest.
• The Pure Essence of the Worlds . Drops randomly after you close the gap between the worlds.
• Dust of the worlds Randomly drops after you close the gap between the worlds. The drop chances are higher than the drop of the previous resource.
• Dragon tear . You will receive the first resource after saving Sindri from the dragon and unlocking shock arrows. Also, three tears can be obtained if you complete the tasks to free the dragons in Konunsgard, Veithurgard and the Mason's Canal. The fifth tear is located under the head of the slain dragon Baldur (the southern pier of the Forgotten Caverns). The dragon will be at this location after completing the story mission.
• Alloy leiptra . Find treasures using the cards "Hunter's Kingdom", "Captain's Key".
• Burning coals . Find treasures using the cards "Isle of Light", "Pay to the finder".
• Unstable ore . Find treasures using the cards "They won't look here", "Bow before Thor".
• Oblivion Stone . Find treasures using the Gift of the Turtle, Bloated Corpse cards.
• Eternal frost . Find treasures using the Historian, Creation Island cards.
