All endings and important decisions in Dying Light 2

Dying Light 2 is a large-scale third-person action game that tells the story of a pilgrim (as nomads usually become criminals in the post-apocalyptic world) Aiden, who is trying to find Dr. Waltz and his sister Mia. The ending of the game consists of several outcomes, which directly depend on the decisions you make. Let's figure it out together!

Help Aitor or not?

When you are caught by the Peacekeepers, Aiden will be in the interrogation room. Aitor will cool Anderson's ardor and ask Aiden to find the personal weapon of the late Commander Lucas. In any case, you will agree to his proposal, and go in search of weapons. After finding the weapon, you will have to take it and show it to Lucas.

Help Sophie and Barney or not

Sooner or later, Barney will overhear Aiden, who will answer Aitor's message on the radio. After defeating the survivors and Herman, you can go to Barney and Sophie's room, where the latter will point a crossbow at you. There will be a choice - to help Sophie or refuse. If you refuse, then you will finally follow the Aitor branch.

Blame Barney or not

Eventually, you'll find a piece of leather with Lucas' tattoo in Sophie and Barney's hideout. This indicates that one of them killed the commander of the Peacekeepers. There will be a choice here.

• If you attack Barney, then ??itor, who will arrest Sophie's brother. In the future, Barney will track you down and you will have to kill him.
• If you believe Barney, then Sophie will appear, who will say that he was set up. You will be able to protect Barney and not turn him in to Lucas. Barney will become your friend and you won't have to kill him.

Whom to give water to - Survivors or Peacekeepers

If you give water to the Peacekeepers, then in the future the Bazaar will be destroyed by their forces. If you give water to the Survivors, they will resist the Peacekeepers. Depending on this, in the task "Flaring", when Aitor appears with his squad, he will treat Aiden friendly or hostile. However, the plot will continue, and no one will kill anyone.

Treat Aitor or not

Purely on your conscience. Don't worry if you gave the water to the survivors, because after recovering, Aitor won't tell you anything.

Help Hakon or not

Hakon will survive in any scenario, but if you decide to help, you can complete an additional task. If you leave Hakon, then later, when you meet him at the end of the game, you will not be able to convince him and you will have to kill Hakon! The only way to save Hakon is to help him with the sniper and at the end of the game say you don't want to fight (after a couple of fights, when does it look like Haq??n already dead).

Go to the aid of Anderson or not

At your discretion, she will die anyway.

Whether to agree to Juan's proposal or not

If you agree and follow this path, you can reach the ending in which Juana and the Butcher will control Villedor. If you refuse, you will no longer be able to go over to Juan's side. This will also open the way to other story quests.

To whom to give the connection?

If you give the link to Frank, he will create a radio for the Survivors. This is the only chance to save Frank . Otherwise, he will die! If you give the link to Matt, abandoning Hunk's idea, you'll go down the Peacekeeper route, and you'll be able to see a cutscene of Villedor being flooded with chemicals. If you agree to Hunk's offer and establish a connection for Matt, Aiden will additionally plant a spy device. This is on a branch of Hunk, who wants to get rid of Matt and make friends with the colonel (The Butcher).

How to save Hakon

Ending 1 - Bad

Not the best ending, which does not depend on who you gave the water to and so on. The main thing is to say at the end of the game that you will save Loan, and go after her. In this case, the missiles will destroy most of the city, you will see a video in which the speaker asks all the victims to contact the Fisheye. If you haven't killed Hakon, he will keep Aiden company, and the heroes will leave Villedor together. If Hakon is dead, Aiden will leave Villedor on his own. There is also the option to leave with Loan, but I was never able to get that ending.

Ending 2 - Loan is saved, the city is intact

It is important that Hakon is alive. Aiden will carry her sister out of the complex, and Hakon will have time to save Loan in time. You have to let the girl sacrifice herself. Next, you will see a cutscene that will show who is in charge of Willedor - the Survivors, the Peacekeepers, or Hunk with the Colonel, depending on who you helped (to whom the communication was transferred!).

Ending 3 - Loan is dead, the city is intact

Let Loan sacrifice herself, while Hakon must be dead (no need to help him with a sniper). Next, you will see a splash screen in which they will showo manages Willedor - Survivors, Peacekeepers or Hunk with the Colonel, depending on who you helped (whom you transferred the connection to!).
