How to start Lonely Tree

• Where to get the quest : Visit the village of Ming Yun, in which you need to find a mysterious instruction.
• Prerequisite : You must complete the Winter Story quest!

To get the Lonely Tree, go to Ming Yun Village and talk to the ghost Yuan Hong. This place is located in a separate region of Li Yue. You need to look for the ghost next to the sign. Listen and agree to help. Look for the ghost in the screenshot below:

Passage of the quest "Lonely tree"

The next marker will lead you to an abandoned village. Search the empty house near the marker (opposite the wooden bulletin board) to get the lost notes. Please read these notes carefully. Now you need to find all the instructions.

How to find all instructions and complete the Lonely Tree quest

These items should be sought inside caves and tunnels. Each place is marked with a marker on the map.

1. First, move to the southwest to find a small lake. You can look at the top of the hill, kill enemies, collect loot, but in reality you are interested in a cave. Find Hilichurl on the destructible slope trying to get the slime out of the exploding barrel. Shoot this barrel to make it explode and destroy the wall. Go inside and take the first instruction. But on this passage of the quest "Lonely tree" is not completed!

2. Now move to the new marker in the northeast to find an uncovered and unveiled entrance to the mine. Inside there is ore, a lot of midnight jade. There is also a second instruction here. Thus, in order to find the treasure from the Lonely Tree quest, it remains to find two more!

3. If you go north from this place, you can find the location of the other two instructions. Be sure to activate the teleporter if you haven't already, and then move from it to the northeast to the small lake to find Geo's temple. Opposite him, on the slope of the mountain is the entrance to the mine. Geo slimes are waiting for you inside, so kill each one and then find a small pool. Move under the rocks to collect Midnight Jade and also open the loot chest. Nearby lies the third instruction.

4. Leave the previous shaft and move southwest from the teleport (fast travel point). You will see a dirt road heading southwest from the portal. Follow straight along it to find the entrance to another mine. Outside there will be Khilichurly and Mitachurly. Inside the mine, in addition to midnight jade, there are deposits of ore and even cor lapis. Never give up on lapis bark! There is also a fork. Move on the left side after the bridge to find the Geoculus and the last instruction.

Once you have collected all four instructions, follow the marker to a new location on the map. If you ended up in the same cave that we visited at point "4", then you need to leave it through another entrance and go along the dirt road uphill. Continue through the quest "Lonely tree" and visit the place where the large tree with orange leaves is located. The treasure is right under the lone tree, by the shovel. Kill all enemies and watch the cut-scene. As soon as you finish off each enemy, you can take the treasure and complete the task.
