LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga features several different characters. Each character belongs to a certain category or type. Each of these types is equipped with unique tools for interacting with certain parts of the environment. Using these tools, you will be able to unlock new heroes, which in turn will grant access to new areas and allow you to earn new rewards. The same concept applies to the destruction of golden blocks, bricks.
If you go through the episodes in order, you will probably find one of the golden bricks in Gangan City, in the Lower City area. If you do not have a suitable hero, then breaking the block will not work. You need to unlock the Bounty Hunter. The earliest you can do this is with the Scavenger by completing the second trilogy. However, any bounty hunter will do.
