In King Arthur: Knight's Tale, you'll have to make a number of decisions that will affect how you play the game. In this guide, we have compiled a list of the most significant decisions and explained the consequences of each action. Almost every dialogue in King Arthur: Knight's Tale has a choice that affects the story. You talk to the character, find out their backstory, what place they occupy in the world, and then the conversation ends. These conversations are displayed in white text in the dialog box. The other options, highlighted in yellow, usually end the conversation or lead it along a predetermined path. This choice rarely matters.

Act 1

"He can't be dead" or "So what? Don't waste my time"

This is the first choice you will face when you meet Sir Twelyn when escaping the dungeon.

"He can't be dead or I wouldn't be here"

Sir Tulin explains that something was waiting for the ship. Then you need to defeat him in combat.

"So what? Don't waste my time"

If you make this choice, Sir Tulin will tell Mordred that something was waiting for the ship and the darkness took the king. He tells you that Arthur is behind the Bridge of Sorrows. After the conversation, you will have to fight Sir Tulin.

"This is my throne room" or "I was chosen by the Lady of the Lake"

Sir Kay asks you what you plan to do with Camelot.

"I have decided. Now this is my throne room, and with a troop of chosen knights, I will fulfill myis the purpose."

If you make this choice, you will earn a point on the Tyrant line. We are talking about the moral system that you were told about after the training. This is marked as an event on the morale card, but has no other consequences.

"I have been chosen by the Lady of the Lake as the protector of Camelot. I will not take this throne, but I will make my Round Table and take on this mission."

If you make this choice, the mission will end in the same way as with the other choice. However, you will be given a point along the line of the Righteous.

"They always do that, weaklings" or "You have a point of view"

"They always do that. Weaklings. We'll see when I finally meet Arthur."

Sir Balan explains that King Arthur has reached the shore beyond the Bridge of Sorrows and has begun his search in Whispering Cove. Sir Balan says your goals are aligned and he will join you.

"Do you have any idea where he might be?"

Identically

To whom to give the bridge

"Sir Balin, I need a knight with your talents at my Round Table. The bridge is yours"

If you make this choice, you will earn a Tyrant score and Sir Balin will join your Round Table.

"The bridge must remain under my protection. I am the ruler of Camelot, and both of you will obey me."

If you make this choice, you will receive no morale points. Sir Balin respects your decision, but Sir Balin says you are making a mistake. However, he will not yi??Squeeze. By choosing this option, you will force both characters to join your Round Table.

"Sir Balan, by law this bridge is yours."

If you make this decision, you will earn a point on the Righteous line, and Sir Balan will consider you a lowly king and offer his services. Sir Balan will join the Round Table. Sir Balin promises that one day you will regret it.

Sir Kay and Sir Lanval

At the end of the Betrayal side mission, there is an option to determine Sir Lanval's fate. There is an event that happens after the mission, but regardless of your choice, the event remains the same.

"No. There is no forgiveness in betrayal. He will die with his people. Now!"

By making this choice, you will receive a score on the Tyrant line. You will have to fight Sir Lanval and his men. After the duel, Sir Lanval's health will be 1 HP, so he will die immediately. You will kill Sir Lanval and all his men.

"Begging is useless. Take his head, but let his people serve Camelot."

If you make this decision, you will receive a point on the line of the Righteous. You will kill Sir Lanval, but his men will not attack you.

"You're right. Sir Lanval will be given the chance to participate in the Round Table."

This is the only choice that will allow you to recruit Sir Lanval. You agree to show mercy. Sir Lanval is joining your squad?at the Round Table, and you won't have to fight him or his people.

Act 2

Surrender Sir Bors

During the Curse of Sir Bors side mission, this choice takes place in a Pictish camp.

You mean the stolen treasure that we would have taken anyway, along with your ugly head.

You fight the Pict and get the same rewards. You can also recruit Sir Bors if he survives the mission.

Pay us in blood! This knight is a hopeless liar. you can take it

If you make this choice, the Picts will not fight you. You can then let the Pict kill him. Sir Bors has been killed and you cannot add him to your Round Table. The items in the chest are identical for both variants.

Deal with Caitlin

Sir Bors, the decision is yours.

Sir Bors says the curse is broken, it wasn't Caitlin. He asks you to let her go. She leaves the area.

You are a pict, our enemy

You tell Sir Bors to kill her, but he refuses. He said he cursed himself because of his blindness. He asks you to let her. You must accept his decision and she will leave.

We do not harm defenseless women. leave

Like the other two options, this decision allows Caitlin to leave the area.

This choice doesn't seem to have any effect.

Choice of Cynylf for sacrifice

Stop!

If you choose this, the sacrifice will still happen.

Life is just a glint on the blade of a sickle

If you make this decision, the sacrifice will go forward with your blessing.

Serpent Holy Choice

During one of the side missions, you interact with the Holy Serpent, who gives you a choice.

Order of the Great Serpent

The sanctuary calls you a liar and says you will feel his wrath. At the end of the mission, nothing changes.

Christianity

You get +1 Christianity. The Holy Serpent claims that you are following a false god. You must offer your blood (nothing happens), but she promises that you will receive a gift. Nothing seems to change at the end of Mission.sd

old faith

You get +1 Old Faith. The serpent seems pleased with your choice and promises to reward you for your faith. At the end of the mission, nothing changes.

Let Sinilph sacrifice himself

If you choose not to let Sinilph sacrifice himself

He seems to be disappointed that you didn't complete the ritual. He says he'll be back after he finds someone willing to finish the job. Mission complete

If you choose to kill him and sacrifice Sinilph

You and the druid agree that this is the best choice. You kill Sinilph and the mission is completed.

help Lady Morgouse or select Merlin

I could use your knowledge and your intrigues, Morgose. I accept your offer

If you make this choice, will Merlin run away and your mother join?comes to you in the fight against the Picts. At the end of the mission, your Mother frees the Craftsman. You will unlock Lady Morgause as a playable hero that you can add to your roster. She doesn't start with all the abilities she can use in combat.

I trust Merlin more than you, mother.

If you choose to go with Merlin, you will be fighting Pictish soldiers and Lady Morgause. You have to kill them all, which is why she is dead and won't come back later in the campaign. Choosing this option allows you to recruit Merlin as part of your Round Table. He starts with all the abilities he uses during the fight.

Protect left or right side

Select protection on the left side. There's a much smaller choke point. Eliminate the enemies there and then go to the other side to help protect the NPCs.

Act 3

Which gate to choose in Beyond The Veil

There are five different gates you can choose from. The gates do not matter, you will need to pass them all before the mission is completed.

Wolf Council_

During one of the story missions, there are several options with the Wolf Council. Fight them, otherwise they will let you through, and then ambush you.

He is a brave warrior, or it's not your decision (Sir Gawain's or Magic Knight's choice)

It's a choice between Sir Gawain and the Magic Knight. If you would like Sir Gawain to join you,the magic knight won't do that. This won't affect the story we found much, but you can decide which character you want to hire here. The Fairy Knight says that he will still help you in your quest, but will not join the Round Table.

Conversation with Sir Televin

During the side mission "Battle of the Chasm" you need to stop the siege of the castle. The siege is led by Sir Televin. This is part of the side mission chain, so you must complete Sir Televin's previous side missions for this side mission to be available. After you defeat him in battle, you will be able to talk to him, and the conversation can ultimately go in one of two directions.

If you recruit Sir Televin

You can offer to recruit Sir Televin. I decided to give him a castle as his seat of power, but he never actually joins as a playable character.

If you kill Sir Televin

I was never able to try this option due to overwriting the save files.

Work with Xiannan Night cover or not

At the start of the Heart of the Deepwood story mission, you can ask Shiannan to help you. If you choose not to use her help, she will attack you later. If you decide to use her help, she will still betray and attack later. Worth taking with you for a few fights as it is quite powerful.

Act 4

Pthe mouth of Meleoris will drive away the beast or fight

Show us then your power, Meleoris! Banish the monster!

If you choose this option, Meleoris will attempt to exorcise the beast with a spell, to which the monster will respond by calling Meleoris a mortal worm, then the monster will kill Meleoris. Then you still have to fight the boss, as well as some of his allies. They will get first.

Get away! We'll fight this champion together

Using this option results in Meleoris calling you savages, but he ends up not being killed. It's the same fight with the same enemies, but you get an extra ally.

Duel Red Knight

During the Knight on the Red Side mission, you can fight the Red Knight at the end of the mission, or fight him in a group. The decision you make here has no immediate consequences. If you win the duel or fight, he will escape through one of the portals. Even if you lose the duel, your character will not die and the Red Knight will escape.

Blue or blue without yellow

If you choose blue, you will receive 300 gold and some experience. If you choose another option, you will not receive anything.
