Using our Bannerlord guides, you should know where to find crafting materials and how to level up blacksmithing. But let's now figure out how to use the forge in the game in general! In this guide, you will learn how to dismantle weapons and items.

You can go to the nearest city at any time and use the local forge. To do this, just select the appropriate option on the city screen. And this is the very moment when the game will try to confuse you. By opening the menu and selecting the "Smelting" section, you can see an empty window. But don't worry. It's just that you don't have items that could be smelted right now. You can do this with almost all weapons, so now go hunting for robbers, after the destruction of which the game rewards you with loot. Collect as many weapons as possible and return to the forge.

Eventually, your character will get tired. You will need to take a break to use the forge again. In this way, the developers, as it were, stop the process of endless farming of experience to increase the blacksmithing skill. It will be necessary to wait 1-2 days, then to continue working in the forge. You can even use the "Wait here for a while" feature.
