How to find your home in Microsoft Flight Simulator

One of the most exciting aspects of Microsoft Flight Simulator is the ability to visit anywhere in the world, from famous landmarks to your own home. But unlike attractions that you can visit at any time, finding your place of residence is not easy. To find your home in Microsoft Flight Simulator , you need to complete a range of activities.

First, download any interactive map such as Google Maps , Bing Maps , or any other on your PC or other gadget. If there is an airport near your house, then you can use it as a guide to find a house. But if you do not have such information, then do the following:

• Enter your address in the map service.
• Find all the airports near your home and choose the closest one.
• From the nearest airport, find your place of residence.

Since during the flight you cannot observe any topographic map, after takeoff you should focus only on your own memory, or the roads leading to your home. During the flight, do not forget to use the VFR card (key V to call up the map ), which will simplify the search by displaying roads and buildings. At the same time, it is best to have at hand a device with an open navigation application, which we wrote about above. Unfortunately, the VFR map does not display street names during flight, so you can easily get lost. When in doubt, it is better to compare the picture with a real map and a VFR map.
