How to get a longbow in Ghost of Tsushima

To get a long bow, you will have to digress from the plot of the game and do one of the quests of the musician Yamato. All of them are called Stories of Ancient Heroes. In one of them you can find a longbow. You can learn about the musician from civilians in settlements, cities or refugee camps. Just look for someone to talk to and never miss an opportunity. As far as I remember, the longbow quest can only be taken in the second act of the game, when you find yourself in the central region of Tsushima.

The shortbow and longbow are the only firearms in the game. You will not be able to use, for example, cannons, which are used by heavy opponents in the third act.
