Material about Resident Evil 4 Remake has appeared on the Fanbyte portal, which, judging by the information, the developers have been working on for several years. Site editor Imran Khan said that the official announcement of the novelty should take place at the beginning of this year, but the Capcom studio may reschedule the date if it does not have time to prepare enough material.
The re-release should be very different from the original game, and not only in terms of graphics. The remake will become darker, as the events will take place mostly at night, and the gameplay will contain early concepts that were not included in the original. In them, Resident Evil 4 was more horror than shooter, and that is the direction the development team took.
There will also be changes in the plot, the authors plan to make several side characters more significant. Ada Wong's quests will also be reworked, but it's not yet clear if they will become part of the main game or turn into DLC. The editor can’t tell you more details yet, the game also doesn’t have a release date yet.
