The news comes along with a new Splatoon 3 gameplay trailer showcasing the fan-favorite Salmon Run: Next Wave co-op mode. The original Salmon Run first appeared in Splatoon 2, where players team up in teams of up to four and fight against common enemies and bosses.
Here we see a group of heroes parachuting from a helicopter into an ink-filled combat location. Like Salmon Run from Splatoon 2, it looks like at least one of the key objectives is to collect the boss eggs and put them in the basket to complete the round.
Splatoon 3 will take players to the desert of Splatoon, where they will fight in classic 4v4 territory battles using a variety of new blasters, chargers, rollers. There will also be plenty of new customization options to make your Inkling look exactly the way you want it, a single-player campaign, and a customizable companion named Buddy to help you through the Return of the Mammals story mode.
The success of the title is quite expected.
New heroes, new challenges.
Deadpool's world is dying.
No release date for the adaptation has been given yet.
