Steel Gladiators Update Released for Crossout with Arena Competitive Mode

Targem Games and Gaijin Entertainment announce the release of the Steel Gladiators update in the post-apocalyptic online action game Crossout . The temporary competitive mode "Arena" has appeared in the game and a new season of the battle pass has started, unlocking new types of weapons and parts for armored vehicles.

"Arena" - fierce battles in the "3 against 3" format in special compact arenas. The battle goes up to three victories (out of five maximum possible), and at the beginning of a new round, you can change the armored car, adapting to the tactics of the opponent. There are two versions of the "Arena": regular and rating. In the second case, the player rises higher in the leaderboard with each victory and can move to a higher league. For getting into the Gold, Silver and Bronze leagues, players will receive backgrounds and emblems for personalizing their profile and other commemorative rewards. Arena mode will only be available until March 20th.

In the new season of the Steel Gladiators Battle Pass, players will be able to unlock 54 rewards. New details include, for example, the Hadron cockpit, originally designed for space shuttles, but adapted for armored vehicles after the apocalypse. And of the weapons systems, the most interesting is the SD-15 Grif sabotage drone. After launching into the specified area, the drone hangs in the air and activates its own invisibility module. When an enemy appears nearby, the Vulture clings to its important parts, trying to destroy them, and then explodes.

Finally, a new relic weapon has been added to Crossout — the brutal Disk Launcher Ripper. Its disks get stuck in the environment and deal damage on collisions - a great way to set traps on the battlefield. The “Ripper” can only be crafted on the “Secret Workshop” Workbench.
