Gaming journalist Jeff Grubb has revealed that Sony is getting closer to launching its new Spartacus service, which will be similar to Microsoft's Game Pass. Users will be offered three types of subscriptions, which differ in content and cost.
The cheapest option would be the $10 Essential subscription, which is essentially the same as PS Plus. The more expensive $13 Extra option will offer users more games (roughly 200-300 projects). The third and most expensive Premium option, in addition to the maximum set of games, will also allow you to stream (a sort of analogue of EA Play).
Spartacus is expected to be released to the public this spring.
The success of the title is quite expected.
