Developer and publisher Techland has detailed their plans to travel to Gamescom and showcase Dying Light 2. We are waiting for quite a lot of information about the game.
In a press release, the company announced that the third episode of Behind the Scenes dedicated to the game will premiere on August 26 at 21:00 Moscow time. It will be called Dying 2 Know and will be held as part of the Gamescom 2021 exhibition.
The special issue will be dedicated to an in-depth announcement of parkour, the combat system and factions. The show will be voiced by Tymon Smektala, lead game designer. This will be one of the biggest shows for Techland.
Parkour is a key element of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, and this episode goes into great detail about how creative this aspect is, how it improves the way you play the game, and how the development of an advanced and realistic movement system went.
Players will also see weapons in action. Techland promises to show just how strong the arms and legs of Dying Light 2's protagonist Aiden are. We'll be introduced to "an impressive arsenal of deadly tools" and "the inspiration behind every weapon in the game."
Dying Light 2 will release on December 7th for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
