Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn and the horror anthology The Dark Pictures , has unveiled The Quarry , a brand new horror game published by 2K.
The studio published a small teaser on its Twitter , and launched a countdown on the site, according to which the full announcement of the game will take place today, March 17, at 19:00 Moscow time.
The teaser released shows a cop interrogating two camp counselors who apparently witnessed "something" jump out in front of their car, causing them to pull over to the side of the road. Near the end of the teaser, the cop's tone changes from benevolent to more nasty when he warns that the couple won't make it to their destination.
The slogan in the teaser reads:
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
In addition, in 2022, Supermassive is also preparing to release The Devil In Me , the fourth and final part of the first season of The Dark Pictures Anthology horror anthology. There have been rumors on the net for a long time that the studio is preparing some kind of announcement that is not related to the anthology for several weeks. First, a new product brand was registered, and now there is an official announcement. As mentioned earlier, the game will be published by 2K, in charge of Borderlands and Tiny Tina's Wonderland, while The Dark Pictures Anthology is published by Bandai Namco.
Other details about the game are being kept under wraps, but in response to a worried fan's tweet describing it as a "horror experience," 2K has confirmed that The Quarry is a "full game." Let's be patient and wait for the evening!
