The developers of the game STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl from the GSC Game World studio got in touch again in their official Discord channel, where they were asked a few questions about their project. In particular, the authors were asked about the state of the game itself, and whether it is planned to release it in the future in Russia and Belarus.
Regarding the first one, the team cannot assess the readiness of STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl, but the game will be released anyway (someday). As for sales of copies in the two countries, as long as the conflict is in force, sales are unlikely to start. Otherwise, the GSC team has not yet met in full force to talk about specific tasks for the sequel.
Recall that the work on STALKER 2 was frozen on March 2, and on March 8, the developers removed the opportunity to pre-order the game to all residents of the Russian Federation and the Baltic Fleet.
