Ubisoft has announced the end of support for its co-op tactical shooter Ghost Recon Breakpoint. The developers thanked all the fans for their support and interest in their product.
The company recalled that since the release of the game in 2019, 11 updates have been released with several new modes, crossovers with other universes, and a host of other content. Now the team will focus on the development of other universes, despite the fact that a serious bet was made on Ghost Recon Breakpoint and continued support was promised.
Previously, Ubisoft planned to introduce NFT items into their games, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint became a trial project with this mechanic. Apparently, the result of the experiment was not as expected.
