Representatives of the studio DICE reported that next week the shooter Battlefield 2042 will receive an update with several hundred changes. According to new information, almost the entire team of the company is working on the patch, and, as a result, it will affect several major gameplay aspects at once.
According to preliminary data, it is known that the upcoming update will add voice chat and a scoreboard to Battlefield 2042 after each match. Operators, vehicles, weapons, and maps will be reworked – the latter will become more compact so that players stop running kilometers to points of interest where the main battles are concentrated.
It is not yet known how many players are waiting for this update, since a few days ago the peak online on the servers of Battlefield 2042 did not reach 1000 people.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
