The Cloud Imperium Games team announced that until May 31, the space simulator Star Citizen can be played for free by everyone. The action is timed to coincide with the release of version 3.17 of the project, in which, as usual, fans of the franchise were pleased with new ships and other content.
Along with this, the developers reported that during the entire time of free access, players can fly on absolutely any ships as part of a free lease. After that, you can make a verdict on the game itself and, possibly, decide on the purchase of a future vessel.
As a reminder, despite decades of development, Star Citizen still doesn't have a release date.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
