Game journalist Jason Schreier reported that at a recent Microsoft conference, the developers of the Avowed game did not reveal anything about their project, because it is in its infancy. The development of the title was restarted several times, and therefore the Obsidian studio simply has nothing to show.
Not too long ago, Schreyer says , Avowed changed its head of production as many key employees left the studio last year. For this reason, it’s not worth waiting for early news about it, and it’s not a fact that the game will be released at all.
It is worth noting that Avowed was first announced in 2020 and now, according to rumors from the network, the game is being created on the UF5 engine by a team of 120 people.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
