Developer 2K Games has unveiled a star for the cover of the upcoming NBA 2K23. Perhaps this is the most famous player in the history of basketball. Michael Jordan will grace the cover of the new game in the NBA 2K23 Championship Edition and NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition.
A press release from 2K Games states the following:
NBA 2K is thrilled to be able to showcase the power of the greatest Jordan in the virtual space, allowing many to experience one of the most sensational moments in NBA history.
At the same time, the question of who will appear on the cover of the standard version of NBA 2K23 remains open. Over the past few years, 2K has used a variety of athletes on the cover of various NBA 2K publications. For example, Luka Doncic appeared on the cover of the standard NBA 2K22 edition, while Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki and Kareem Abdul-Jabbara appeared on the premium anniversary edition.
At the moment, the release date of NBA 2K23 is unknown, but at least we know one of the stars from the cover, which is assigned the main role in the game.
