Sony has finally confirmed the release date of God of War Ragnarok - on Wednesday, November 9, the action will appear on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Additionally, the company has revealed a fresh cinematic trailer that shows "glimpses of some of the threats that Kratos and his son Atreus will face" as the world approaches Ragnarok.
Sony also talked about various editions and pre-order bonuses. If you pre-order, you'll receive Kratos' snow armor and Atreus' tunic.
The standard edition of the game will be available separately for PS4 and PS5. PS4 owners will have to pay $10 to upgrade their copy to PS5.
The Ragnarök Digital Deluxe Edition includes additional armor for Kratos and Atreus, a digital soundtrack, a digital mini-artbook, an avatar set and a PS4 theme.
The Collector's Edition will have all of the above, but in physical form with a game voucher and disc box (but without the physical media itself). You'll also receive a 16" replica of Mjolnir, a pair of 2" twin carvings, and a set of gnome dice.
Finally, the Jotnar Edition includes all of the above in an even prettier physical box, as well as a two-track 7" vinyl by composer Bear McCreery, a Draupnir ring, a rag card, an improved set of dice, and some pins.
We are talking about the full release of version 1.0.
