Marvel's Midnight Suns First Gameplay Demonstrates Card-Based Combat System

A new trailer revealing the gameplay of Marvel's Midnight Suns has taken an in-depth look at the deck-building combat system. There was no mention of her in the cinematic video shown earlier.

If you missed the presentation of the new game last week, we inform you: Marvel's Midnight Suns 0H is a tactical RPG from Firaxis - the studio that gave us the games of the Civilization and XCOM series. Jake Solomon, creative director of the project, assures that the game will be significantly different from XCOM, and now we have also learned that the battles will be built on a card battler system. Check out the trailer below:

In it, Doctor Strange can be seen using a move called Agamotto's Gaze, as well as Magik controlling a map with a portal that completely engulfs the enemy. And then there's Wolverine with a Power Slash card that allows the hero to knock back his opponent.
