Studio Deep Silver ordered to close access to the game Dead Island 2 for residents of Russia. Thus, in the Epic Gamers Store, which acted as the main distributor of pre-orders for the project, access to entertainment was covered.
You can still actually go to the Dead Island 2 page in the store, but when you try to make a purchase, an error will pop up saying that the content is not available in your country. There have been no official statements from the developers about this, but the chance that this is a bug is extremely minimal. Most of the pre-orderers have already received their money back, the rest will receive a refund soon.
Dead Island 2 will release on February 3, 2023.
