Konami held a presentation dedicated to the Silent Hill horror series. At the event, the organizers announced several projects, among which was a remake of the second part of the game title.
In the debut trailer, we were shown the level of graphics and excerpts from the story cut-scenes, as well as pieces of gameplay. The protagonist explores a gloomy city, in which it is very dangerous to be at nightfall. The project is being developed by the Bloober Team studio, which some fans of the franchise did not really like.
Loyal fans of the series noted that the Americans are unlikely to be able to convey the atmosphere of the classic version of Silent Hill 2, which was implemented by the then Team Silent. That team has been gone for a long time, so we will have to play the version that the authors of The Medium and Layers of Fear will present to us.
No release date for the remake has been announced yet.
