Earlier in the network there were rumors that the developers of the new space horror The Callisto Protocol are planning to postpone the release of their game to a later date. Allegedly, Striking Distance does not have time to complete the game on time, and therefore we will be able to feel it only in 2023.
The developers hastened to dispel these suspicions and confirmed that the new product will go to the public on the previously set dates - December 2, 2022. The studio also confirmed once again that the versions for the current generation consoles will run at 60 FPS.
Recall that the plot of The Callisto Protocol will tell about the events unfolding in a space prison, the inhabitants of which, for some unknown reason, turn into bloodthirsty monsters. The hero who finds himself in the complex will have to find answers to many questions and get out of the trap in which death awaits him at every step.
The developers thanked the fans: "Thank you all for your support. Together, we have reached this important milestone. See you in the vastness of Thedas on October 31st!"
On Metacritic, the film received a score of 46 out of 100 and 5.3 out of 10, which also indicates a cool reception.
