As you know, there are too many scenes of cruelty in the game, and therefore the Japanese regulator did not allow the horror movie to be officially sold.

Recall that a similar situation happened with the last part of the Mortal Kombat fighting game, which was also not released in Japan due to its bloody finishing moves. The Reisent Evil remake was heavily censored, but this will not work with comic horror, since the whole game, in fact, is built around blood and dismemberment.

The release of The Callisto Protocol in the rest of the world is scheduled for December 2nd.
