Ed Boon, NetherRealm's studio chief, said the company is hard at work on its next game. The developer did not say what title he was talking about, he only specified that it would be either Mortal Kombat 12 or Inustice 3.

However, now developers from Warner Bros. and DC things are not going well, and therefore this time the title may be left without a sequel.
There are no details about Mortal Kombat 12 yet. Perhaps they will appear at The Game Awards, where Boon will come to meet with fans.
