Blizzard has made changes to the free battle pass for its Overwatch 2 team shooter. Now, to get access to the new character Ranmatra, owners of the free version will have to upgrade not to level 55, but to level 45.
Many players note that this is still too long, and that the hero should be made available somewhere between 20-30 levels of the pass. As an added bonus, the developers slightly simplified the conditions for completing weekly tasks to make it easier to upgrade the pass.
Donators, by tradition, get access to all Overwatch 2 goodies immediately after their release.
There is little information, so the shooter could be based on the StarCraft, Warcraft universe, or a completely new IP.
