Bungie also visited The Game Awards 2022, bringing a new trailer for the Destiny 2 shooter to it. This time, we were presented with the announcement of the Lightfall add-on, which will delight fans of the franchise with an abundance of fresh content.
Lightfall will send players to explore the vastness of the planet Neptune, where the Cloud Tramps and the Legion of Shadow have settled. Fighting them, the Guardians must stop the darkness and prevent the irreparable from happening. We will be able to go through a new story campaign, receiving even more cool loot as a reward.
The release of the expansion is scheduled for February 28, 2023.
