During a stream with Vladimir Bratishkin, voice actor Yegor Vasiliev hinted that he was working on the Phantom Liberty add-on.
Bratishkin asked about the Russian localization of the DLC and stated that he knew that Vasilyev had already recorded the main character's dialogue. “How do you know?” the actor asked with surprise. And then he commented:
Wait for official announcements. Nothing has been canceled yet, but nothing has yet been returned. I would like your optimistic mood. Let's just say I'll see you in Night City.
The voice actor does not deny the presence of Russian localization in Phantom Liberty. Perhaps Vasiliev is under NDA and is not allowed to share any details.
The release of the Phantom Liberty DLC will take place in 2023.
