The developers of the shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 plan to release five raid activities for their game, the first of which became available today, December 14th. In the future, raids will be released once a season, which means that the authors plan to develop their project for at least five seasons.
This will be followed by a scheduled update, which will be available in the fall of 2023. It's not yet clear what kind of content it will feature, but Infinity Ward and Activision are clearly committed to keeping their shooter up to date throughout the coming year.
As for the concept of raids, these activities are group tasks in which players will need to clearly interact with each other in order to complete collective missions. Without team gameplay, success in raids will not work.
