The American company Amazon has launched a new project in development, which will be a film adaptation of the popular game series God of War. The show will be produced by the guys from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon Studios in conjunction with PlayStation Productions.
The novelty has already found a showrunner - it will be Rafe Judkins. The script for the new story will be prepared by Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus, while it is already known that the plot will almost completely repeat the journey of Kratos and Atreus from the first part of the restarted franchise.
At the moment, the film adaptation does not have a cast and director, the project is at an early stage of production.
