The Epic Games Store continues its daily Christmas giveaway of video games. Tonight, the distribution of the shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order should begin. Hints for the next game are hidden in placeholder pictures.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is a first-person shooter video game developed by Swedish company MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks in 2014 for Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
The New Order is set in an alternate universe where technologically advanced Nazi Germany managed to win World War II. The game begins in 1946 when the protagonist, Captain William "BJ" Blaskowitz, suffers a head injury during an assault on a German fortress. After spending 14 years in a vegetative state, the hero wakes up in 1960 and sees a dystopian world tightly controlled by the Nazi regime.
The game is not available on the territory of the Russian Federation.
