The developers of the space strategy Stellaris have announced another addition, called the First Contact Story Pack. In general, the expansion will not be very large, but it will add some interesting mechanics to the game.
They relate to the moment when the cosmic races meet each other, which is usually called "first contact". The focus of this element will be on peoples who have not yet discovered FTL travel. The process of observing primitive civilizations will be significantly changed, replenished with new opportunities.
In addition, the expansion will add new origins and some kind of disguise mechanics, about which details are not yet known. The patch has no release date yet.
