Foreign critics released the first previews of Atomic Heart

On January 17, 2023, the final previews of Atomic Heart from several foreign publications were published. The journalists expressed their impressions and shared their opinion about the upcoming shooter.

In general, the reviewers were satisfied with the game, but noted some minor drawbacks. The IGN portal journalist liked the graphics, setting and combat system, but he attributed the protagonist's excessive talkativeness to the minuses. The protagonist's talkativeness was also noted by Polygon and PC Gamer. The journalists of these publications also liked the setting of the Soviet Union, but they believe that the atmosphere of the USSR could have been revealed more strongly.

Reviewers noted a bit of over-complexity, especially in the beginning. The main character does not have enough ammo and skills. The Eurogamer reviewer was also impressed by the setting and graphics, but she believes that the game lacks additional quests and chaotic exploration. The music score and the design of the enemies were also noted.

Atomic Heart will be released on February 21 this year for PC, PlayStation, Xbox. The game will be available with a Game Pass subscription.
