Sledgehammer Games is teasing a comic book announcement for the upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Vanguard , which could take place during New York Comic Con. In a tweet, Sledgehammer Games wrote: "See you at NYCC." I also attached a picture with a comic book magazine and the Call of Duty Vanguard title to it.
There is no other text on the cover, but there is an image of Lieutenant Polina Petrova, who is surrounded by several dead Nazis. Petrova is a Soviet sniper, one of the four main characters of Call of Duty: Vanguard, who was also a playable character in the demo presented during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2021.
New York Comic Con will be held from October 7 to 10, about a month before the release of the game itself, so comics can be an addition to the final version. As a reminder, Call of Duty: Vanguard is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC on November 5 this year.
The success of the title is quite expected.
