THQ Nordic Announces 6 New Games at 10th Anniversary Event

More about Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed, Jagged Alliance 3 and other titles
THQ Nordic Announces 6 New Games at 10th Anniversary Event

During the THQ Nordic 10th Anniversary Showcase, the company revived at least three iconic franchises that have been dormant for years. In this news, we have collected all the announcements from the event.

THQ Nordic is an amazing company. Day after day, month after month, its employees work hard to discreetly collect fan-favorite franchises under their wing. Especially diligently and with great desire, the company buys up series that are “in hibernation”. I'm more than sure that their sister studios are currently working on a lot more new games, but last week THQ only announced 6 new titles (as if that weren't enough) and added information about the two previously announced to them. So, let's go in order.

Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed

The natural development of events after the release of the remake of the first part. Krypto is back, he will once again wreak havoc on completely redone locations. Players are waiting for a lot of reworked weapons, skills, an improved destruction system, and so on. The game will be released in 2022 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake

SpongeBob and Patrick embark on a new adventure through strange worlds inhabited by unusual inhabitants and creatures. They have to find their friends missing from Bikini Bottom. The game is being developed by Purple Lamp Games, the same studio behind Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated. The title will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Outcast 2: A New Beginning

Another cult classic is the GTA 3-inspired open-world game that returns as a sequel 20 years after it debuted in 1999. Amazing things! Let me remind you that the sequel to Outcast was previously announced, but the game was subsequently canceled. You will be able to explore a new region of the planet Adelfa and help its native inhabitants cope with the oppression of the invader robots.

Jagged Alliance 3

The second part, Jagged Alliance 2, was released back in 1999. Yes, after that the series already tried to return to the players, but it all looked somehow clumsy and completely “non-cult”. I hope that in the case of Jagged Alliance 3, the developers will do everything right. The game will be released exclusively on PC.

Super power 3

The grand geopolitical strategy about the quest for world peace or global domination is back. SuperPower 3 is a PC-exclusive sequel to the second game released in 2004.

MX vs ATV Legends

Off-road racing is coming to next-gen consoles and will provide players with even more options than ever before, including a Trials mode that "puts you in touch with nature like never before." The game will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

Elex 2

Another trailer for the sequel to the open world sci-fi RPG explores faction struggles.

Expeditions: Rome

New CRPG where you explore the Roman legion.
